Stephan Kesselbach is a partner in the Business Litigation and Arbitration Group. He also belongs to the insolvency and restructuring team of Wenger Plattner. He advises national and international clients in litigation and represents them before administrative authorities and courts with an emphasis in the areas of corporate, contract and bankruptcy law. Stephan Kesselbach has deepened experience in handling complex insolvency proceedings.

Probate and bankruptcy

In probate proceedings and bankruptcies, we assume the functions as trustees, as liquidators, as the private bankruptcy trustee or creditors’ committee members. We carry collocation and rescission. Foreign bankruptcy trustee, we assist in the expansion of foreign bankruptcy proceedings in Switzerland and in the realization of assets located there.


For debtors in financial distress, we are working from restructuring plans and accompany them in their implementation. We conduct negotiations with major creditors (financial creditors, employees or suppliers) or advise on M & A transactions in crisis situations.
